Introduction to Russian Natural Brands. Part 1

My Estonian friends told me they'd like
to know more about Russian beauty brands

There are good reasons for that
First, Russian brands can be easily found in our stores
Second, we love them cause they are really good
Third, products are really affordable

I decided to start my introduction with
natural skin and hair care brands

and now also sell glitter, balm and gloss

I have 9 sample jars and 3 sample bags
which I ordered back in January, 2011

Glambox Review - December and January

Hooray for the January Glambox!
Hooray for the beauty minies!

I am glad we finally have our own little local sibling (or copycat?) of
mighty US Birchbox and chic UK Glossybox
(which are not available internationally)

Still wondering what it is?

A gift box with at least 4-5 product miniatures
selected according to your beauty profile and
delivered to you once per month for 7.90 euro

Glambox promises not to repeat the products in the box
as well as provide at least 2 bigger sized products in each set

According to the concept, the products should be from high-end brands for you to test them before making an expensive purchase. Unfortunately, our boxy box is not that "luxurious" at the moment.
However, I hope they will "grow fancy" in the nearest time.

Let's take a closer look at January's Glam Box

Current obsession - Black loves White

Sunday's Inspiration. Dulce Candy

Meet Dulce Tejeda or Dulce Candy, one of the top beauty and fashion icons of social media.

Her desire to inspire people and promote fashion was born while
serving in the Army forces
and having her femininity prisoned in the military unform.

In 2008 she started her YouTube channel which now has
almost 120,000,000 (!) views and 500,000 subscribers

Some of my favorite outfits of hers.

Favorite Affordable Cosmetics. Episode #1

I dediced to launch new series of beauty posts,
dedicated to affordable make-up brands sold on the Web

Since the beauty products in our stores are ridiculosly overpriced
and the assortment is quite limited
(big sad smiley face here),
beautyholic (like me) has to buy from elsewhere to survive!

So, I've been shopping online since the beginning of 2010
and will start sharing my secrets with you :)

Let me introduce you e.l.f. Cosmetics and Makeup,
(e.l.f. stands for eyes lips face)
US brand launched in New York in 2004 and arrived to UK in 2007
e.l.f make up prices start at £1.50 (around 1.80 euro!) per pcs,
with their mineral and professional lines starting from £3.50
(~ 4.20 eur!) per pcs
Isn't that crazy!?

10 Must-Have Products from The Body Shop

Today, I want to share with you my
10 Must-Have Products from THE BODY SHOP

Intro: I have combination skin
(dry in most parts and a little oily in T-zone), no acne,
a little bit of redness and uneven pigmentation

1. Nutriganics™ Foaming Face Wash

„Our certified organic range has been created
for the first signs of ageing.
This facial wash gently cleanses skin, leaving it feeling soft,
smooth and revitalised.
99% of ingredients are of natural origin“

Hands down , this is THE BEST facial cleanser and make-up remover
I have ever tried!

a. Just push the pump once
b. Slightly rub the foam to make it creamy
c. Apply it to all your face and gently massage
d. Wash off with water and enjoy the result

You only need one pump for the whole face and it removes even my sultriest smoky eye make-up.

Cons: Might not work that well with waterproof mascaras

Price: 13 euro for 150 ml
